You Could Write about this in 1980!

Yeah the article is prejudiced, narrow-minded, conservative, etc... but at least they were writing about it! In TIME MAGAZINE no less. I doubt you could get away with it in 2014! There are so many taboos, that this is far from being the last.

I know phrases like "as in any propaganda campaign," and "an ingenuous editorial denying the article was advocating anything" are about as journalisticly impartial as the New York Post, but  still, they wrote about it.

I just found this among my papers. I have no idea where it came from (though it seems likely to come from a San Diego newspaper). I also have no idea WHEN it comes from, though the yellowing says it's not recent. But it expresses an idea so well, that... well, you'll see

Of course! If I knew that there were hundreds of people looking at me and becoming so stimulated that they rush for relief... I'd have high self-esteem too! It's logical, but not Judeo-Christian-Muslim, so few people will be paying attention to it.
