The Smithsonian magazine reports that foxes in urban areas seem to be getting used to (high fructose) corn syrup. Are we gonna see them keeling over from heart failure?

Once in a Blue Moon
There've been very few times during the last 10 or so years that I thought there was anything of value in New York. The World Trade Center attacks made New York part of America. (We used to consider it a different country. They did too.) Guiliani brought in Starbucks, and the other horrible chains. The city became too expensive and way too safe. But every now and then I see something and think YES! NEW YORK... YES!

I saw this in a novelty catalog. Along with the usual practical jokes was this "novelty." Perfect for calling up the old girlfriend and threatening her with some awful violence and torture. She'll never know where it came from!
